Coaching Background, Experience and Style
My clients say I challenge while supporting them and build strong relationships based on trust and mutual respect. I am a direct, empowering coach with a rigorous and creative approach. I support my clients to analyse issues, create effective solutions and take action. In my coaching practice developed over several years, I adapt my approach and pace to the client needs, largely using the GROW and OSCAR models.
I have a zeal for supporting people to achieve their full potential and the outcomes they want. Characteristically, I have the toughness and strength to see things through – I never give up. I am tenacious, value-driven and exude warmth and humour.
I have had great results working with women and I support learning and development initiatives aimed at furthering the progress of BAME communities who are underrepresented in senior-level roles. Work History
- Senior management level experience in the public sector (mostly NHS and local authorities) and voluntary sector
- More than twenty years’ experience working across health and social care to deliver transformational change to the support, treatment and care of vulnerable adults whilst driving sustainable performance improvement. Worked closely with multidisciplinary professionals including social work and nursing leads in north London boroughs. Experience in local authority social care, regulation and policy
- Specialist expertise in mental health services and has been particularly effective at leading the commissioning of services for vulnerable adults.
